The Micro- and Nano- Scale Engineering section (MNSE) is a group established in 2004 within the Mechanical Engineering Department. Although we have a broad interst in relevant technology that can solve micro- and nano- engineering problems, we are specially interested in non-silicon-based systems (like polymer and glass MEMS, non-lithographic approaches). The activities in this group will focus on micro- and nano- fabrication, micro-fluidics, sensors and actuators and system integration.
